This is how you can browse with a locked internet usb modem with any sim via Nokia pc suite( Tip; this can as well work with other phones pc suite… the modem will remain locked but you will be able to connect to the internet through the locked usb internet modem.
Some people have long awaited for this tutorial because they dont have what it takes to unlock their modem .But now with the help of this post, you can now use any sim card in your unlocked modem to brows the web........
Reuirements:
1. Nokia PC Suite Download from here
2. Your locked usb modem Locked Modem
Procedures:
1. Insert any SIM into your locked Modem and Plug to your PC.
2. If your Modem displays invalid SIM, just ignore and close Modem software.
3. Start NOKIA PC suite.
4. Click on File > Connect to the Internet, then click on the below spanner Icon to configure it.
5. Select your Modem from the List, and input the appropriate Internet Service provider’s settings As follows
Am using The four major network service providers in Nigeria as a case study
APN (i.e access point name).
NB: Airtel APN = internet.ng.zain.com
MTN APN = web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net
Glo APN = glogwap
Etisalat APN = etisalat
6. When you are finish with set up, connect to internet through PC suite.
7. Remember, you are connecting to the Internet via Nokia PC Suite + Modem without unlocking. Besides, you can also insert another SIM Card and follow the same steps then input the appropriate APN of the network provider.
